It happens every September across the world. Childhood Cancer Awareness Month (CCAM) started in 1990, and 2025 marks its 35^th anniversary.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, a time when communities come together to raise awareness about pediatric cancer and support initiatives that make a tangible impact on the lives of young patients and their families. Fundraising during this month plays a crucial role in providing support services for children battling cancer.

Childhood cancer remains a pressing issue, with thousands of children diagnosed each year worldwide. In Cameroon in particular, challenges persist in providing comprehensive care and support to affected families.
